Team respect women regardless of them being thots or not.
We call ships ‘she.’ We call our war machines ‘women.’ We compare women to black widows and vipers. And you’re going to tell me it’s not ‘lady-like’ to scream, to take up space, to fight and demand respect and do whatever the hell I want. You’ve looked at nuclear bombs and been so in awe that you could only name them after women. Don’t try to down-play my power.
I want to frame this and put it next to my computer.
I agree that women should feel free to do whatever we want in terms of lifestyle and career and all that, but can we stop demonizing women who want to have kids and raise a family? Like can we just stop doing that? It’s all well and good if you don’t want kids, that’s totally fine and absolutely a valid option, but that doesn’t mean all women who decide they do want that are “traitors” against their own gender or “weak” or whatever.
Shoutout to the guys who have good hearts, are full of love, pursue women with honest and beautiful intentions, and treat women with respect.

Reality: The shooter killed four men and two women
Tumblr: The shooter killed six women! How dare you bring up men!
Reality: Boko Haram kidnapped and killed 10,000 boys. Boko Haram also kidnapped just under 300 girls
Tumblr: BRING BACK OUR GIRLS!
Reality: As of 2015, Rape has had a gendered definition that excludes female rapists and their male victims for more than half of the world’s population.
Tumblr: With effort, the song Blurred Lines can be interpreted in an offensive way! RAPE CULTURE!
Do not let the Tumblr community tell you that men do not have issues or laugh at you when you bring up male victims. They are so quick to turn a blind eye to male victims that they don’t even consider seeing what is right in front of them. They are blind to anyone who isnt the right kind of victim.
blurred lines is literally about rape, there isnt much effort needed, but yeah, people shouldnt suffer, it doesnt matter if they’re men, women, or anything in between.
Blurred lines is no more about rape than Baby it’s Cold Outsode is about rape. It is only about rape if you take it that way and make it about rape.
In an interview with GQ Stelios Phili, Thicke explained:
“Someone who says “I know you want it” is probably overly cocky and presumptuous as hell by assuming you/she wants “it,” but nothing about “I know you want it” is saying “I know you want it, and I’m going to force you to have it” or “I had sex with you and you didn’t consent, but I know you wanted it.” Yes, “I know you want it” could be said by a rapist—but so could “Do you want to go to a movie tonight?”
Please dont dilute rape by making everyyhing into rape.
Stop pretending like you’re “strong empowered women” while also whining about how “scary” all men are. Real empowered women are on a man’s level, not perpetuating a fear narrative.
See a therapist and grow some fucking lady balls.
do yall know how dangerous it is to spread the idea that only men can hurt you and women only help other women
